Vincent Stavros, JD
Mr. Stavros focuses his legal practice in the areas of Plaintiffs Personal Injury litigation and Criminal Defense. Prior to joining Stavros Law Offices, Mr. Stavros was an Assistant State's Attorney with the Lake County State's Attorney's office where he gained extensive litigation experience prosecuting various criminal charges ranging from petty traffic tickets to serious felony offenses. Upon joining Stavros Law Offices, Mr. Stavros was assigned to the Personal Injury division and has recovered Millions of dollars on behalf of his clients.
In 2017, Law Bulletin Publishing Company, though its Leading Lawyers division, named Mr. Stavros an Emerging Lawyer. This designation is reserved for less than 2% of registered Illinois lawyers, all of whom are age 40 or younger. Emerging Lawyers are selected by Illinois Leading Lawyers for exhibiting "exceptional character" and "outstanding aptitude" required to succeed in the profession.

Mr. Stavros performed his undergraduate studies at Northern Illinois University in Dekalb, Illinois. He graduated from Northern Illinois University in 2009 with a bachelor’s degree in Criminology. From there, Mr. Stavros attended The John Marshall Law School in Chicago, Illinois, where he was on the Dean’s List every semester and coached several mock trial teams. While in law school Mr. Stavros worked as a Law Clerk at the Lake County State’s Attorney’s Office and had an Illinois Supreme Court Rule 711 license allowing him to argue motions and examine witnesses during criminal trials and hearings.
Mr. Stavros is an active member of the Lake County Bar Association, Chicago Bar Association, Northwest Suburban Bar Association, Illinois State Bar Association, and the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association.
